- Rashtriya Uchchattar Shaiksha Abhiyan is a holistic scheme of development for Higher Education in India initiated in 2013 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
- It is a scheme to skill the final year graduating students of Higher Education in Vocational Training with the objective of getting all graduating students ready for employment.
- From UT of Jammu and Kashmir, 18 different colleges were chosen and from UT of Ladakh 2 College were selected for Vocationalisation of Higher Education.
- Keeping the future of our students in our view, our college Government Degree College Jammu City Paloura (Misihriwala) initiated the Vocational courses under the CSS (Centrally Sponsored Scheme) under NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) for the session 2018-19. In which our college selected two courses namely, Junior Software Developer and Accounts Executive. These two courses were organised by the Learnet Skill (Formerly IL & FS Skill) under RUSA. In each course total No. of 30 students were enrolled who completed the course successfully.
Note:-All the students who completed their courses and are further desirous of their placement under RUSA vocational courses will have the opportunity to attend the Job-fair.
